Needed in Greensboro

Full-time and Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
Pay: $27.74 - $33.41 per hour

Overview

Kids in Motion (KIM) is a private pediatric therapy practice serving families throughout the Greensboro and High Point area of North Carolina. We provide Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services to children and young adults from birth through age 21 using a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

At KIM, you will have the opportunity to build your career while working alongside experienced Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our team-based environment encourages collaboration and co-treatment, allowing therapists to learn from one another while providing comprehensive, individualized care.

This position offers the opportunity to work in both home-based settings and our clinic facility located in Wallburg, North Carolina.

You will provide therapy to children who may need support with sensory integration, fine motor development, feeding and swallowing, visual perception, and activities of daily living (ADLs), helping each child build greater independence and confidence in everyday life.

Role characteristics:

  • Adolescents

  • Children

  • Infants

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • No nights

  • No weekends required

Responsibilities

  • Treat the pediatric population with a variety of ages and needs.

  • Performs patient care by carrying out patient treatment plans as outlined by OTR.

  • Document and complete dynamic treatment plans and progress reports.

  • Update patient progress to family

  • Communicate with families, team, and lead therapist.

  • Maintain continuing education requirements.

  • Comply with governing code of ethics.

  • Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

  • North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy

  • Prior pediatric experience (1 year) is preferred

  • License/Certification: COTA (Required)
