Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients’ mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, home health environments, and rehabilitation centers. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery journeys by developing personalized treatment plans and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans targeting rehabilitation goals for various populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, neurology, and orthopedics.
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions including trigger point therapy, mobility exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists—to coordinate patient care and discharge planning effectively.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards and electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes while ensuring adherence to clinical documentation standards.
• Support patients during home health visits or outpatient rehabilitation sessions by providing compassionate care that promotes independence and recovery.

Skills Required

• Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within inpatient, outpatient, hospital, or home health settings.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology.
• Skilled in discharge planning and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with outpatient clinic experience and outpatient rehabilitation center operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes through interdisciplinary communication.
• Proficiency managing clinical documentation standards using EMR or EHR systems for accurate record keeping.
• Excellent client communication skills to educate patients on treatment procedures and promote active participation in their recovery process.
• Experience working with geriatric patients and understanding the unique challenges associated with aging populations.
• Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies aimed at pain relief and mobility enhancement.
